Predicting passenger comfort

The parametric cabin modeler

°´½ÇÀÇ °ÝÀÚ »ý¼ºÀº ½Ã°£ÀÌ ¼Ò¿äµÇ´Â ÀÏÀÎ CAD Çü»ó¿¡ ±âº»À» µÎ°í ÀÖ´Ù. °´½ÇÀ» ¹¦»çÇÏ´Â ¸¹Àº CAD ModelµéÀº MeshingÀÌ ½ÃÀÛµÉ ¼ö ÀÖ±â Àü¿¡
¸ðÀ¸°í, Á¤¸®Çϰí ÀÏÄ¡½Ãų Çʿ䰡 ÀÖ½À´Ï´Ù. Structured ȤÀº Unstructured meshing StrategyÀÎÁö¸¦ ¼±Á¤Çϴµ¥ µû¶ó¼­ ÀÌ ¸ðµç °úÁ¤Àº 3ÁÖ¿¡¼­ 8ÁÖ Á¤µµ°¡ ¼Ò¿äµË´Ï´Ù. ´ëºÎºÐÀÇ °æ¿ì¿¡´Â Â÷·®ÀÇ CAD ModelµéÀº °³¹ßÀÇ Ãʱâ´Ü°è¿¡¼­´Â Á¦ÀÛÀÌ °¡´ÉÇÏÁö ¾Ê½À´Ï´Ù.

ÀÌ·¯ÇÑ ¹®Á¦µéÀ» ¾ø¾Ö°í ÁøÇà»óÀÇ ¼Óµµ¸¦ ³ôÀ̱â À§Çؼ­, Behr»ç´Â ICEM CFD»ç¿Í °øµ¿À¸·Î Parametric Cabin Modeler¸¦ °³¹ßÇÏ¿´½À´Ï´Ù. ¸ðµ¨ÀÇ Çü»óÀº »õ ¸ðµ¨ÀÇ ¼³°è(°¡´ÉÇÏ´Ù¸é) ȤÀº ½ÇÁ¦ Â÷·®°ú À¯»çÇÑ ¸ðµ¨·Î ¼³Á¤Çϱâ À§ÇÑ 200°¡Áö ÀÌ»óÀÇ ÆÄ¶ó¸ÞÅ͸¦ °¡Áö°í Á¦À۵˴ϴÙ. ÀÌ·¯ÇÑ ÆÄ¶ó¸ÞÅÍÀÇ Á¶ÇÕÀ¸·Î »ý¼ºµÈ Çü»ó°ú ½ÇÁ¦ CAD Çü»óÀº Áß¿äÇÑ Çü»ó¿ä¼Ò°¡ ÀûÀýÈ÷ ÀÏÄ¡µÇ°í ÀÖ½À´Ï´Ù. ÀÌ ToolÀÇ ÇѰ¡Áö ÁÖ¿äÇÑ ÀåÁ¡Àº ºü¸£°Ô ´Ù¸¥ ȯ±â Á¶°ÇÀ» Å×½ºÆ®Çϱâ À§ÇØ Vent¸¦ ¿Å±â´Â °ÍÀÌ °¡´ÉÇÏ´Ù´Â °ÍÀÔ´Ï´Ù. Wall Prism ±Ùó¿¡ ÀÇÇØ µÑ·¯½Î¿©Áø Tetrahdral Mesh´Â ÀÌ Tool¿¡ ÀÇÇØ ÀÚµ¿ »ý¼ºµË´Ï´Ù. ¼öÄ¡ÀûÀÎ Overhead¸¦ °¨¼ÒÇϱâ À§ÇØ 4¸éü ´ëºÎºÐÀº Meshing Tool¿¡¼­ 6¸éü·Î º¯È¯µË´Ï´Ù. Jet Region¿¡¼­ ±¹¼ÒÀûÀ¸·Î °ÝÀÚ¸¦ ÀçÁ¤ÀÇÇϱâ À§ÇØ ¼ÒÀ§ "Density Volumes"¸¦ Àû¿ëÇÔÀ¸·Î½á ÇØ¼®°úÁ¤¿¡¼­ ³ôÀº ǰÁúÀÇ °ÝÀÚ¸¦ Á¦°øÇÒ ¼ö ÀÖ½À´Ï´Ù. °ÝÀÚ¿Í °è»ê ¸ðµ¨ÀÇ ÁúÀº ±¤¹üÀ§ÇÑ À¯È¿¼º ¿¬±¸¿¡ ÀÇÇØ È®ÀεǾî CFDÀÇ °á°ú´Â ½ÇÇèµ¥ÀÌŸ [1]°ú Àß ÀÏÄ¡Çϰí ÀÖÀ½À» º¸¿©ÁÖ¾ú½À´Ï´Ù. ÀÌ ToolÀ» »ç¿ëÇÔÀ¸·Î½á ÀϹÝÀûÀÎ °´½Ç ¸ðµ¨¸µ¿¡ ¼Ò¿äµÇ´Â ½Ã°£ÀÌ 3ÀÏ À̳»·Î ÁÙ¾îµé¾ú½À´Ï´Ù.

Solar and thermal radiation
Â÷·® ³»ºÎÀÇ Thermal Comfort¸¦ Æò°¡Çϱâ À§ÇØ °´½Ç ¾ÈÂÊÀÇ ¸ðµç Ç¥¸é¿¡ ÅÂ¾ç ¹× ¿­ º¹»çÀÇ ¿µÇâÀ» STAR-CDÀÇ Discrete Beam Approach¸¦ ÀÌ¿ëÇÏ¿© ¿¹ÃøÇÏ´Â °ÍÀÌ ÇÊ¿äÇÕ´Ï´Ù. ½ÇÁ¦ °æ¿ì¿¡¼­ °è»êµÈ žçÀÇ º¹»ç¿­ ºÐÆ÷´Â ±×¸² 2¿¡ ³ªÅ¸³ª ÀÖ½À´Ï´Ù. ÀÌ °æ¿ì´Â 45° °íµµ¿¡¼­ -45°ÀÇ ¹æÀ§°¢À¸·Î ¼³Á¤µÇ¾ú½À´Ï´Ù. Á÷Á¢ÀûÀÎ ÅÂ¾ç º¹»ç·®Àº 500W/§³·Î °è»êµÇ¾îÁ³½À´Ï´Ù.

Virtual thermal dummy

CFD¿¡ ÀÇÇÑ °´½Ç¿¡¼­ÀÇ Thermal ComfortÀÇ ¿¹ÃøÀº MARCO(Method to Assess theRmal COmfort)¶ó°í ºÒ¸®¿ì´Â ½ÇÇè ¹æ¹ý¿¡ ±Ù°Å¸¦ µÎ°í
ÀÖ½À´Ï´Ù. MARCO´Â °ø±âÀÇ ¿Âµµ, ¼Óµµ(´ë·ù) ¹× º¹»ç·®ÀÇ ÇÔ¼ö·Î µÇ¾îÀÖ´Â Resultant Surface Temperature(RST)¸¦ ÃøÁ¤ÇÏ´Â 21°³ÀÇ ¿­¼¾¼­¸¦ ÀåºñÇÑ Thermal DummyÀÔ´Ï´Ù. »ç¶÷ÀÇ ¿òÁ÷ÀÓÀº ±× ¼¾¼­¿¡¼­ ¿­¿øÀ¸·Î Ç¥ÇöµË´Ï´Ù. RST´Â ½ÇÇèÀûÀ¸·Î LMV(Local Mean Vote)ÀÇ °ª¿¡ ±Ù°ÅÇÑ
Àΰ£ Áö°¢°ú °ü·ÃµÇ¾î ÀÖ½À´Ï´Ù. ÀÌ °á°ú·ÎºÎÅÍ °¢ 21°³¼Ò¿¡¼­ÀÇ Comfort ZoneÀÌ Á¤Àǵ˴ϴÙ.

CFD Model·ÎºÎÅÍ RST¸¦ °è»êÇϱâ À§Çؼ­ Numerical Thermal Dummy´Â 21°³ÀÇ ¿Âµµ ÃøÁ¤ ¼¾¼­°¡ ´ã±ä °´½Ç ¸ðµ¨À» Æ÷ÇÔÇϰí ÀÖ½À´Ï´Ù. CFD Solver°¡ Ç¥¸é ¿Âµµ¸¦ °è»êÇϱâ À§ÇØ º¹»ç¿Í ´ë·ù¸¦ °í·ÁÇϸé,  Numerical RST´Â ½ÇÇèÀûÀ¸·Î ¾ò¾îÁø °ª°ú °°°í µû¶ó¼­ Human Perception LMV¸¦ ÃøÁ¤ÇÒ ¼ö ÀÖ½À´Ï´Ù.

Example of use

°´½Ç À¯µ¿ ÇØ¼®¿¡ ÀÇÇÑ Thermal Comfort¸¦ Æò°¡ÇÏ´Â Å« ÀåÁ¡ Áß Çϳª´Â Ãʱ⠿øÇüÀ» Á¦ÀÛÇÏÁö ¾Ê°íµµ ¼³°èÀÇ Ãʱâ´Ü°è¿¡¼­ ´Ù¸¥ ȯ±âÁ¶°ÇÀ» ºñ±³ÇÒ ¼ö ÀÖ´Ù´Â °ÍÀÔ´Ï´Ù. ´ÙÀ½ÀÇ ¿¹¿¡¼­ Rear Passenger Comfort¿¡ ´ëÇÑ Rear Center ¹× B-Piller VentilationÀÇ ¿µÇâÀÌ Æò°¡µÉ °ÍÀÔ´Ï´Ù. ±×¸² 3Àº ÅÂ¾ç º¹»ç¿­ÀÇ °æ»ç°¢À» º¸¿©ÁÝ´Ï´Ù.

µÎ °æ¿ìÀÇ È¯±âÁ¶°ÇÀ» °¡Áø °´½ÇÀÇ °ø±âÀ¯µ¿Àº ±×¸² 4¿¡ StreamlineÀ¸·Î ³ªÅ¸³ª ÀÖ½À´Ï´Ù. Rear Center ¹× B-Piller Ventilation Jet¿¡ ´ëÇÑ StreamlineÀº »¡°£»öÀ¸·Î Ç¥½ÃµË´Ï´Ù. ÈÄ¹æ ¼¾ÅÍ ¹× B-Piller VentilationÀÌ ÀÖÀ» °æ¿ì ½ÅüÀÇ »óºÎ, ƯÈ÷ °¡½¿°ú º¹ºÎ°¡ ³Ê¹« ´õ¿öÁú °ÍÀÔ´Ï´Ù.

Conclusion

CFD °´½Ç À¯µ¿ ºÐ¼®Àº Á¦Ç° °³¹ß °úÁ¤¿¡¼­ ÇØ¼® µµ±¸·Î½á °¡Ä¡ÀÖ´Â ¹ßÀüÀÌ ÀÖ¾ú½À´Ï´Ù. Parametric Cabin ModelerÀÇ ÀÀ¿ëÀº °´½ÇÀÇ CFD °ÝÀÚÀÇ ºü¸¥ »ý¼º¿¡ ÀÖ°í ÀÌ´Â °³¹ßÀÇ Ãʱâ°úÁ¤¿¡¼­ CFD ÇØ¼®À» Àû¿ëÇÒ ¼ö ÀÖ°Ô ÇÕ´Ï´Ù.
