A
quick read through the pages of this magazine or the engineering
press in general should quickly convince you of the benefits of
the STAR-CCM+ revolution. However, in order to fully appreciate
just how different STAR-CCM+ is, you need to do more than just read
about it, you need to experience it for yourself. For this reason
we're proud to announce the release of a free evaluation version
of STAR-CCM+. This unlimited duration free download, gives you the
opportunity to evaluate the world's most advanced industrial CFD
solver. This evaluation version allows full access to STAR-CCM+'s
advanced modeling technology and is limited only in terms of model
size (maximum 16,000 cells on each of two CPUs). |

robust and easy-to-use solver, and to completely redefine the way in which CFD is used: more than just a new solver, STAR-CCM+ is a completely new approach to CFD with a totally intuitive approach to tasks such as selecting materials properties and defining boundary conditions. Based on the latest object orientated programming techniques, STAR-CCM+ is not only easy to use, but also modular in structure, allowing us to introduce new physical models and solver technology much more rapidly than other CFD codes. Utilizing face-addressing technology, its data structure and code architecture are designed to handle meshes of any cell topology in the most efficient possible manner. Not only is STAR-CCM+ capable of providing a solution for any legacy mesh, using our unique polyhedral meshes it can provide accurate solutions three to five times faster than on an equivalent tetrahedral mesh. Currently released features are applicable to a wide range of laminar and turbulent external and internal flows (an impressive suite of turblence models is included) and capable of handling phenomena such as conjugate heat transfer and porous media. To experience all of this and more, simply download your free evaluation copy from: |
