GT-COOL : 엔진 열 관리 시스템의 설계와 해석을 위한 S/W
GT-COOL은 정상상태 및 과도 해석 모두에 적용 가능하며, 단순한 엔진과 차량 모델링 요소를 포함합니다. 따라서 적은 노력으로 완전한 과도 사이클 (FTP, MVEG 등)이 성립되어 시뮬레이트되도록 합니다. GT-COOL의 implicit 유동 solver는 network 형식의 근사가 필요없이 시스템의 지배 방정식에 대한 빠르고, 신뢰성 있고, 정확한 해를 줍니다.

GT-COOL은 air-side, cooling-side, oil/transmission fluid 냉각기 및 그밖의 유체 시스템을 포함하는 전체 냉각 시스템을 모델링하기에 필요한 모든 요소를 포함합니다.

Vehicle Cycle Analysis:
One of the main advantages of GT-Cool over general purpose fluid network analysis programs is the ease with which complete engine/vehicle cooling system models can be simulated. The methodology is as follows:
   INPUTS:
• Vehicle characteristics (mass, drag coefficient, tire sizes, etc.)
• Transmission gear ratios and upshift/downshift points
• Engine maps of heat rejection vs. engine speed & BMEP
• Vehicle motion prescribed
   OUTPUTS:
• Vehicle speed integrated/differentiated to calculate distance traveled and   acceleration
• Vehicle inertias, acceleration and gear ratio used to calculate engine speed &   BMEP
• Map lookup of coolant heat rejection yields heat load to the engine block

The engine and vehicle models are shared with GT-Drive and can be graphically copied from GT-Drive projects.
